Marko Arnautovic will leave West Ham if a bigger club come calling for his signature, believes former Hammers striker Dean Ashton.Austria international Arnautovic has proven a huge hit at the London Stadium since his 20million arrival from Stoke City last summer.

3Arnautovic came off the bench to set up Austria’s winning goal against Northern Ireland Arnautovic was linked with a switch to Manchester United in the summer transfer window, and Ashton believes the forward will look to leave the Hammers if another ‘big club’ shows an interest.But the former striker has urged the club to keep hold of the forward in January, and instead wait to sell him for big money in the next summer window.Speaking on Mondays Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, Ashton said: When Arnautovic came to West Ham he was awful to start with, but David Moyes really got the best out of him and got him working extremely hard as that lone striker.Ive been majorly impressed with him. Hes got way more power and pace than I thought and hes a much better finisher than I thought he was at Stoke.He has got the ability to go to the next level and it wouldnt surprise me if he wanted to do that.As a player youve got one chance and youve got to be selfish at times.
