Sheffield United are understood to have not approached Ribery over a move to England as of yet, and the report claims the veteran wants to ‘be involved with a major European club’, which is likely to deal a blow to the Blades’ hopes of signing him.Ribery, who played for Boulogne, Ales, Brest, Metz, Galatasaray and Marseille before joining Bayern in 2007, is widely regarded as one of the best players of his generation.
